Nickname: Nessa Dee
What part of Miami (South Florida) are you from?
Originally from Dania Beach, FL
Describe yourself in five words.
Fun, Ditsy, Giving, Daring, and Strong
What’s the one thing you think everyone who visits Miami must do or see?
You haven't seen Miami unless you have been on top of the highest building you could find in the middle of downtown or midtown, overlooking the entire city!
What outfit in your closet best describes your personal style?
As long as I have a pair of high heels in my closet any outfit would work for me.
What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Music, Music, and more music! Without it, I'm not sure if I could 'Handle' this world (music geeks would get the joke lol).
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Once upon a time, I did 100 in a 65 on the highway in broad daylight, on a road full of cops (ok maybe like 2 or 3 but you get my drift) Thinking just maybe they won't pay me any mind. Right! I lied to myself and faced the consequence of paying a $300 ticket. Ladies and Gents, please go the speed limit. Your pockets will thank you.
If you could spend the night out in Miami with any celebrity who would it be and why?
It would have to be P. Diddy. I admire him so much because he is about his business, besides, he knows Miami, and he knows how to party.
What social issue is most important to you?
I would have to say that Cancer is one of the biggest social issues that concerns me the most. Over the years I have lost a few loved ones from different forms of cancer. I would not want anyone to experience the pain that I felt from losing a person you thought would always be there. That is one reason why I try to give back in any way that I can, whether it be donating money or participating in an event.
What and how would you contribute to the city of Miami?
I hope to one day make it so that tourists see more than South Beach and downtown Miami. We have so much more to offer and I'm sure if they saw more, they would never want to leave.
What makes Miami girls different from all other girls?
Miami girls, for the most part, are very cultured. Miami has a mix of almost every nationality you could name. We have a lot of appreciation for our city and what it has to offer. Yes, Miami is known for the beaches and the nightlife and while visitors are excited and happy to enjoy those things, we enjoy the smaller things in our communities.
If you had a magic wand, what would you change about Miami and why?
I love Miami, but the we have to fix these highways. If I had a wand, I would fix every road and rid Miami of all the construction. It would make it less stressful for the daily drivers.
