About Alyssa

Nickname: My friends and family call me A- Lis

Age:34

What part of Miami (South Florida) are you from?
I’m from Broward County.

Describe yourself in five words.
Extroverted, Seductive, Beautiful, Giver, Loving

What’s the one thing you think everyone who visits Miami must do or see?
Everyone that visits Miami must go to South Beach and get in the water. Once your foot touches the water, you would never forget the experience. There\'s something about South Beach that keeps making you want more.

What outfit in your closet best describes your personal style?
I have different moods so I don’t have just one outfit that describes my style. I love dressing myself according to my mood. I am definitely sexy and classy.

What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
I truly cannot live without my phone. I could of have driven about one hour away and I will most definitely and certainly turn around and go get my phone. When I work with my artist, I have to be able to answer my phone, make business calls, and conduct conferences calls while on the go.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
One of the craziest things that I ever done was when I was in the US Navy, I was chosen to be part of the US Marine swim qualification training. I was placed in a simulated aircraft which was dunked in a pool upside down. I was blind folded and had to escape. It was crazy, tough, and different but I’m always up for a challenge.

If you could spend the night out in Miami with any celebrity who would it be and why?
I would love to spend the night out in Miami with Janet Jackson. She is someone that I look up too. She is truly a woman of strength, power and humbleness.

What social issue is most important to you?
One social issue that is important to me is mental illness. I don’t believe in our society we are doing enough to educate people about mental illness. There are so many that are living their lives untreated due to health benefits, lack of education of mental illness, and economic reasons. This list can go further and does not limit itself. The change starts first with each one of us. Everyone should get educated on mental illness and how it affects our society.

What and how would you contribute to the city of Miami?
What I can contribute to the city of Miami is my willingness to make a change in people’s lives. I believe that I am already a spokesperson for Miami. With my knowledge and connections I will be able to put together events that can bring awareness and support to Artist, local talent, social issues, or raising money for charities. It’s all about our community coming together.

What makes Miami girls different from all other girls?
I always tell people that “I am a woman about my business”. I am focused and I stay focused on my short term and long term goals. When I’m working with my talents or setting up an event, I have no time for idle conversation. I have the power to command and to lead. I know when it’s time to have fun and relax and when it’s time to handle business. This is what makes me different from all other girls.

If you had a magic wand, what would you change about Miami and why?
If I had a magic wand I would first change all that construction that’s on the freeway J . In reality, I would not change anything about Miami because you should never change something that is unique. What I would do with my magic wand is improve Miami not change it.

Keep up with Alyssa
